Not Back... Yet

It is now Thursday 2 November and I am still working on this post from 31 October. I don't have the pictures on my computer right now, but I promise to post them tonight if I have the time. My mom is watching the kids overnight, so M and I may go out to dinner... or just stay in :) I am in my last day of class, and I have loved it. Don't get me wrong... I have had more problems than anyone else, I have fried two computers, but overall it has been great! The instructor kicks ass and so do the others in the class. M's dad and brother will be in town early tomorrow morning. We are all so excited to see them. I just wish that my sister-in-law and nephew were able to make the trip too.

Nothing New

Nothing new going on this way today. I moved my office yesterday, but haven't really got to enjoy the work today because I am filling in up front again. Word is that this will SOON be changing. I get my 3rd, yes 3rd, promotion in 2 weeks and still have yet to be responsible for what my job description entails. Oh well, I cannot really complain when the money rolls in every two weeks.

We had a cold front go through this morning so it's only about 60 degrees here right now. For Texas, that's pretty darn cold. I love cold weather though. I hate the summer and the heat. I like being cold because I can snuggle up in front of the TV with M and the kids, and just really enjoy the great life that we all have together. Hopefully it just keeps getting better (I'll expand on this next Thursday... so stay tuned).

I hope to get some more pictures on here either tonight or tomorrow. More than likely it will be tonight because I have tons of things today here at work tomorrow, and then I am off on Friday. This weekend is M's birthday and we are going to have sooooooooooo much fun! I cannot wait.

Well, I'll get on again later and upload some pictures.

Crazy Addictions

Does it make you crazy if you are nosy and read people's blogs that you don't know? For example, I have followed links from pages that I normally read and those just lead to more and more links. I've never met these people, but by reading their stories and admiring their pictures, I feel like I really do know them. Am I a crazy, blog stalker?

Anyway, I guess that I don't really care because as soon as I get to work every morning, I make a cappuccino and start reading blogs... other people's blogs. They just brighten up my day! So, if that makes me crazy... then I guess that I just am.

The kiddos are doing well. They were in such a good mood this morning. Yes, I actually did see them because I was running late. I'm telling you what, these past few weeks have just been ridiculous. I don't feel like I'm able to get into the swing of things. Does anyone else ever feel that way? Enough complaining.

I don't think that I mentioned that I will be moving again (jobs that is). I'm still working at the same place, just filling in for another position (hopefully, I can permanently fill it when it becomes available... it would be yet another promotion for me!).

Anyway, I'll keep you updated. Take care.

Good Times

H - Before his soccer game. Isn't he so handsome?! I love you buddy!! D is just hanging out in the dining room floor. Actually, he waits until I'm gone and then heads over to my expensive glasses. I refuse to put them away because I think that he needs to learn to stay away from them. I'm patiently teaching him about this. If they get broken, who cares... the lesson in it to him is much more important. However, he doesn't get in to them unless he knows that you can hear him.

Here is our dog Berklei.

The weekend went very well. The kids had friends over... of course. We had a wonderful dinner and a great time with Alan and Keri on Saturday. We just absolutely adore them. The are the best friends that anyone could ever ask for!

We are beginning to let D try more table food. He LOVES it! I cannot believe how fast that he is growing. He can do so much. The walking is going well. He has yet to just take off across the room, but he can walk from thing to thing. He really enjoys it.

H and S are as great as always. H begins Cub Scouts on Tuesday, so that is one more place that we have to run to. At least soccer will be winding down here in about 4 weeks. That takes up a lot of our time.
Now to get a little emotional... I have been finding myself falling more and more in love with M. Of course, I have always loved him. But I love him more and more each day. I love looking at him... I love watching him with the kids... I love everything about him!!!

Yeah for D!

D got into the pantry. He loves barbecue Lays.

He is walking now! My baby boy is... walking. Mommy and Daddy are sooooooooo proud of you!

Friday the 13th

So far the only good news that I can report is that I was actually able to log in to my blog today. I have not been able to do so for 2 days now. The bad news is that I just got to work about 30 minutes ago. Our alarm did not go off. H had to wake us up. He and S missed a school program that they were supposed to be at. I did not have time to shower... I know what you are thinking so just be quiet!

To catch up...

I colored my hair back dark. I really like it. It's a little more red, but I think that it is just because my blonde is so much stronger than the box color. Which reminds me that I have to call Sara to cancel my appt and tell her what I have done. Calling right now... OK, just got off the phone with her and she was totally cool about it. She did not get mad at me at all!

D was of the utmost attitude, bad mood person that I had ever run across on Friday and Saturday night. He made life absolutely miserable for me. He would not go to sleep at all. The only time that he would calm down was when you were walking with him... and it had to be dark and quiet. Luckily for me, our house it quite spacious so I didn't keep bumping into things. But let me tell you, it gets to be almost impossible to function. On Monday, I noticed that he had cut his 5th tooth. Maybe this had a lot to do with it. He also was coughing and had A LOT of congestion. I felt so sorry for him, but I also felt sorry for myself.

D went for his 9 month appt yesterday. He is 29 inches long and weighs 20 lbs. He got a flu shot, and he didn't even cry. My baby!

This weekend we are having Keri and Alan over again for dinner. We just love them so much. They are the greatest friends in the world! M is making his famous pork roast and other than that, I don't have any more details.

I am going to try to post some pictures today. Ok, I was only able to post two. What is wrong with this thing.

Back to Natural

I have decided to go back my natural, dark hair color. I have been getting highlights put in for almost 2 years. I never seem to like them. They are okay, but I never walk away LOVING how it looks. I'm a little nervous about the change, but I think that I will do fine. I have a four day weekend coming up, so I will do it then, in case I need to make an emergency trip to my stylist. I'm also kind of excited about going back because I got so many compliments on my hair before I started coloring it. I think that I've only got one since I started the highlights. Hmm, that should have told me something!

Monday...

... the ever so sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww day. I have only had one phone call today and no visitors. Of course, today began the "New Year" for the AF. I will finally be moving back to my office and hopefully doing some more work that revolves around what I am actually supposed to be doing. I have a test to take this afternoon. That should at least make the day go by a little faster. Also, I go to lunch in an hour. I cannot believe that I have already been here for 3 1/2 hours this morning. Maybe this Monday won't be such a slow day after all.

We had such a good time over the weekend. M and I finally had OUR good friends over for a cookout. We love them! They are so much fun AND they have 3 children too! 3 boys actually. Their oldest is H's best friend. S had a little girlfriend over, so we had 7 kiddos at the house.
