Hello Out There

I'm back...

Actually I have been back, but been sooooooooo busy! As soon as I got home, M had to go out of town for a class. It's been hectic. On top of our busy schedules, D has been a royal pain. I cannot wait until this temper tantrum phase ends! I don't have much time right now, but I'll leave you with a few pictures...

Just wanted to let you all know that I am still around.

We have been very busy. H just got back into town yesterday. He is so tired. M has been doing some projects around the house. S has been her normal self. D has been as crazy as he always is. And me... I'm just tooooooo busy. We are having a fun, relaxing weekend out of town this weekend and I am looking forward to it!

Only 3 more days until I'm the big 27! Tomorrow we are having a joint birthday party for me and my brother-in-law..

My diet/exercise is going great! I am going to keep at it. Hopefully I will have shed a few more pounds! I've talked with my physician and he says that my goal in completely obtainable. I would like to lose more than my goal, but as long as I make that, I will feel great about myself. I already feel so much better and have so much more energy that I have had in who knows how long. I am able to get up in the mornings with no problems, I sleep better, and I do not feel tired during the day. I am going on two weeks without Dr.Pepper. I am strictly water and decaffeinated iced tea (with 2 sweet in lows). Wish me luck as I continue in my progess.

I really hope to have access to the internet... I am going to miss you all!

The weather here just got bad again. We are so flooded right now! Only very few of us will be able to travel home in a few minutes. The others have to wait here until some of the roads are a little more passable.

All of this rain is about to drive us crazy! There is so much flooding around town... people are evacuating their houses. I guess you just have to understand that we are usually under a serious drought here in North Texas. But on the up side my yard and flowers are gorgeous! I cannot believe that the grass is actually green and soft. I cannot believe that my flowers have actually bloomed... and grown!


The kids really need to get out of the house. Not being able to swim AND being confined to the house because of the weather is really getting to everyone.


My 27th birthday in next Monday (9 July). We are going to have a party for me and my brother-in-law on Saturday. I am looking for to having some good food!
