A Mother's Love - Helen Steiner Rice
A Mother's love is something that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

A Little of Nothing
Well, I ended up getting out of the house all day yesterday. We went shopping, to my boss' retirement luncheon, and went running around doing all the things required for M to start up his new business!! Yeah for him... I wish him the best because I know he is going to be great at it!! I do think that I was on my feet way to long because I started to have some discomfort. I crashed early last night (about 11:15pm)and have just been sitting around today.
I'm contemplating the option to stop nursing. It's purely for selfish reasons, and I'm just not really into giving up all of my time to do it. It's really hard when you have 3 other kids that need attention too! On the other hand, I thinking about just making it to 6 weeks and then just pumping. I don't know what to do. I'm not really comfortable putting him on formula right now and I know that M wants me to nurse as long as I possibly can. I've started pumping occassionaly just to have a back up in case of emergency. Well, enough about that...
H has a Boy Scout Court of Honor tomorrow morning. He will be receiving a new rank and a couple of Merit Badges. We are so proud of him. He has practice for it tonight and I'm thinking of going to get out of the house for a couple of hours. Of course, I'll take Baby J with me, but that's okay. I just need more adult interaction before I go crazy!
I'll leave you with a couple of pics...

In Need of Caffeine
I don't know why, but yesterday I could not type all letters into my post... anyone know about that?
I switched over to a Word doc to check it out and had no problems at all. Strange?!
Anyway, I got on just now to see how it was working and I'm having no problems at all. Confused!
The kids have been out of school for two days now due to the ice storm that we are having. OMG!!! It is time for them to all go back. Hopefully tomorrow everything will be open again. I'm steadily praying for that!!! :) Tomorrow we are going to attempt to venture out with Baby J. My boss is retiring and tomorrow afternoon is her retirement party/ceremony. I'm leaving the three older kids in after school care so that I don't have to take them along with me. I'm sorry, but I am so ready for just peace and quiet!!
I guess maybe I'm just tired. Baby J was up every hour last night to eat... actually I should say that he just wanted to snack for about 5 minutes each time. Obviously I did not get any sleep at all. Just as I was falling asleep he was crying out again. I should be taking a nap right now, but I'm just too restless for that. I need to get out of the house! I did take the kids to school on Monday, but other than that, I have not been out of the house in a week!! I.MUST.GET.OUT.SOON.
My mom is hanging out with us today while we remodel our kitchen... again. Maybe she will sit with the kids for about 10 minutes so we can run out and grab a Mocha. Oh yeah, that sounds great! I'll go ask her about it right now! Talk to you later.

3 Years Old
This post is a week past due, but I can't help it. Being 39 weeks pregnant and raising 3 kids makes it tough to find time for myself!
My baby is 3 years old!! It's a bittersweet time!
