Dyed and Gone to Heaven

This means that H and S now have brown hair. Yep, you heard me right. They got their hair colored yesterday evening. And they LOVE it. They have begged me for over a year to get their hair done, but I never wanted to pay out the money for it. So, eventually I gave in. They were so excited to go to school this morning. It's not too dark, but it's dark enough for them to notice a difference and to be happy about how it looks. S was so scared that the color was going to go away last night and she wouldn't be able to show it off today. We kept trying to reassure her that it would be there for a few weeks. But she was bouncing off the walls and wasn't really paying much attention to what we were telling her.

D got the 2nd half of his flu shot and he did great. He didn't even cry. Of course, I had to settle my nerves so mommy and I went shopping for an hour or so after his appointment. I felt so much better when I had a few purchases behind me.

Thanksgiving will be here before I know it. I am so excited... it's D's first one... M's parents will be in town... all of our family will be together again. I couldn't ask for a better day. H and S are going to help me get the house decorated and get a few desserts made up. I am so glad that they love helping us out in the kitchen. We all have so much fun together!
